    Police have arrested a man carrying a samurai sword wrapped in a jacket in central Auckland


    Officers were called to reports of a person with a gun on Upper Queen Street just before 4pm, and found the man on Vincent Street a short time later.

    Police say he will face charges relating to possessing and offensive weapon.
