    A 47-year-old woman has been arrested after allegedly attempting to steal from a number of stores across the Henderson area

    A 47-year-old woman has been arrested after allegedly attempting to steal from a number of stores across the Henderson area


    Police were called to a sports store around 3 on Thursday afternoon, after staff confronted a woman they said was trying to conceal nearly 200 dollars worth of baseball caps.

    Police say the woman then attempted to enter more stores in the area.

    She'll appear in the Waitakere District Court next week.
