    Five years after the club looked consigned to history, Macclesfield FC have pulled off one of the greatest upsets in English football


    The sixth-tier side have stunned reigning FA Cup champions Crystal Palace 2-1 in the third round.

    In 2020, Macclesfield was put into liquidation, before a local businessman saved the club at the eleventh hour.

    Coach John Rooney - the brother of English legend Wayne - says his team rose to the tough challenge.



    Chelsea leads Charlton 1-nil at halftime.

    Aston Villa has eliminated Tottenham 2-1, while other winners include Manchester City, Burnley, Fulham, Newcastle, Brentford and Leicester City.
