    A person is in a critical condition after a water-related incident at a Bay of Plenty property


    Emergency services were called to Wellington Street in Opotiki after 3pm.

    It's the third water-related event in the last 24 hours.

    A man died in Mahia - south of Gisborne - around 9.20 last night.

    While a woman was pulled from the water unresponsive in Okitu in the Gisborne district just after 11.30 this morning.
