Brooklyn Beckham's wedding DJ has revealed the truth behind Victoria Beckham's "inappropriate" dancing on his big day

The 26-year-old aspiring chef blasted his family in a shock Instagram post earlier this week, and singled out his mother for hijacking his first dance with wife Nicola Peltz Beckham, which he described as the most "uncomfortable" and humiliating moment of his life, prompting speculation about the dance and a slew of online memes - but DJ Fat Tony, who played at the bash, has now explained what really happened when Victoria danced with her son revealing the groom was asked to put his hands on his mother's hips as his bride fled the room in tears.

During an appearance on UK TV show This Morning, Fat Tony explained: "There was no slut dropping, there was no PVC catsuit, there was no Spice Girls actions. The word inappropriate - why I said it was inappropriate as well because it was the timing."

He then revealed singer Marc Anthony started the drama by calling Brooklyn onto the stage during his performance and asked to Victoria to join him - referring to her as "the most beautiful woman in the room" - leaving Nicola in floods of tears.

Fat Tony explained: "What happened was - basically, Marc Anthony was performing on stage, he then called Brooklyn onto the stage.

"Everyone is expecting Nicola to go up and do the first dance and then Marc asks the most beautiful woman in the room to come to the stage, then he said: 'Victoria come to the stage'.

"At that point, Brooklyn is devastated because he thought he was going to do his first dance with his wife. Nicola leaves the room crying her eyes out.

"Marc says: 'Put your hands on your mother's hips!' It was a Latin thing and that whole situation was awkward for everyone in the room."

Fat Tony went on to reveal the dance became the most talked about moment of the entire wedding as he heard guests discussing it over brunch the following day.

He said: "I DJed the brunch, which was the most awkward part of it all because that's when everything was discussed from the night before."

Fat Tony previously poked fun at the family feud by sharing a meme mocking Victoria's dance with her son.

He posted a video of a character from TV series Motherland doing an embarrassing dance at a PTA meeting and wrote: "Actual video footage, it's true I was there!"

In his statement, Brooklyn insisted he was blindsided by the moment because he had been expecting to dance with his 31-year-old bride during family friend Marc Anthony's performance.

He wrote: "My mum hijacked my first dance with my wife, which had been planned weeks in advance to a romantic love song.

"In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me instead.

"She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. "I've never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life.

"We wanted to renew our vows so we could create new memories of our wedding day that bring us joy and happiness, not anxiety and embarrassment."

In his Instagram statement, Brooklyn blasted his family and insisted he does "not want to reconcile" with Victoria or his dad, Sir David Beckham.

He wrote: "I have been silent for years and made every effort to keep these matters private. "Unfortunately, my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed.

"I do not want to reconcile with my family. I'm not being controlled, I'm standing up for myself for the first time in my life."
