Black Caps pace bowler Lockie Ferguson is inching closer to an international cricket return in time for the T20 World Cup

The 34-year-old has spent more time on the physio table than inside the boundary rope in the last year, plagued by calf and hamstring issues.

Ferguson's last appearance for New Zealand across all formats was 14 months ago, but he could feature overnight in the fourth T20 against India.

He's outlined what motivated him during rehabilitation.
