Dave Navarro taught his ex-wife Carmen Electra how to be romantic

The Baywatch beauty is hoping that the advice she got from the Jane's Addiction lead guitarist - whom she married in 2003, separated in 2006, and finalised their divorce in 2007, citing "irreconcilable differences" - will help her to strike up a relationship in 2026.

After Carmen, 53, shared she "don't like liars", the star then added to People: "It's just really nice when you're with someone [who's] just really into you.

"I have had that before. It obviously didn't last. But once you know what it feels like to really be with someone [who] is so there for you, you can't undo that feeling. You know, it's just beautiful.

"[I want] somebody that's very romantic. I remember when I was dating Dave, I was so not romantic, and he was teaching me how to be romantic, but now I am."

Carmen thinks her relationship with 58 year old Dave - which was documented on the MTV reality show, 'Till Death Do Us Part: Carmen and Dave, for one season in 2004 - has set her standards high for when it comes to new partners.

She recalled: "Like the 10th of every month, we would get together, because we met on the 10th, and that was all his idea.

"Like, we're gonna have a special dinner for the 10th of every month, because we met on this date, cute things like that were really thoughtful."

Carmen has had multiple high-profile relationships.

She was married to former NBA star Dennis Rodman, 64, from 1998 until their divorce in 1999, briefly dated late music legend Prince in the 1990s, and was even linked to music mogul Simon Cowell, 66, from late 2012 to early 2013.

Elsewhere, Carmen revealed the meaning behind her bold black tattoo - hands in prayer holding rosary beads - near her right shoulder blade.

She said: "I got the back [tattoo].

"You know, I've been stabbed in the back so many times. I figured if I have God's hands on my back, go ahead and try to stab me and see what kind of karma you get.

"Oh, yes, I've had so many swords I pulled out of my back. I've turned them into paddles, and I've used them as paddles to get to shore. Now I'm on the other side, and now I see, and now I know what I don't want."
