Two separate emergencies on State Highway One north of Christchurch are causing significant delays

Two separate emergencies on State Highway One north of Christchurch are causing significant delays

Emergency services attended a crash on the southbound side of the northern motorway near the Kaiapoi on-ramp just after 5am.

On the northbound side in the same area at the same time, a person had stopped their vehicle on the motorway and has been taken to hospital to be assessed.

The Transport Agency says people should expect delays as one lane in each direction is blocked.
