Paris Jackson has shared rare photographs with her mother Debbie Rowe

Posting intimate images to social media offering a glimpse into their relationship years after they reconnected, Michael Jackson's daughter, 27, uploaded two images to her Instagram Story featuring Debbie, 67, the nurse who was married to Paris's father, Michael Jackson, from 1996 to 1999.

In the first image, Paris wore a red jacket with a Navajo-inspired pattern while Debbie stood beside her in a plaid flannel shirt.

And in the second, the pair appeared outdoors, with Paris in the same red jacket and a turquoise trucker hat, while Debbie smiled in a cream-coloured top.

Paris captioned the image: "Lately," followed by a heart emoji.

She also posted a series of clips showing herself riding a horse while dressed in a cowboy hat and blue jeans.

Paris wrote: "Just a chip off the ol' block."

Debbie married Michael in November 1996 while pregnant with their eldest son, Prince.

The couple later welcomed Paris in April 1998.

Debbie ultimately relinquished full custody of both Prince and Paris when she and Michael divorced in October 1999. Michael went on to raise Prince and Paris, along with his son Bigi Jackson - formerly known as Blanket - until his death in June 2009 at the age of 50 after getting hooked on hospital-grade tranquiliser Propofol.

Paris has previously spoken about reconnecting with Debbie after her father's death.

The two resumed contact when Paris was 13.

In a 2017 interview with Rolling Stone, Paris said: "When I was really, really young, my mom didn't exist."

She added: "By the time my mom came into my life, it wasn't a 'mommy' thing. It's more of an adult relationship."

Paris was also by Debbie's side when Debbie underwent cancer treatment in 2016.

Speaking on Red Table Talk in 2021, Paris described the dynamic they share.

Paris said: "Getting to know her, seeing how similar we are, getting into what kind of music she likes - and she really likes country and folk."

She added: "We look a lot alike. It's just cool having her as a friend. It's very chill, which I love. It's the perfect word to describe it."
