Confirmation from Wellington Phoenix coach Giancarlo Italiano that forward Marco Rojas' ankle injury is season-ending

Confirmation from Wellington Phoenix coach Giancarlo Italiano that forward Marco Rojas' ankle injury is season-ending

Rojas has been limited to just four appearances in his first season back at the club - having last played on December 14.

Italiano is hopeful defender Tim Payne will return from a foot injury ahead of their next match on Waitangi Day against the Brisbane Roar, while skipper Alex Rufer may be out for longer due to illness.
