    NZTA's expecting it may have to briefly close Auckland's Harbour Bridge over today - due to severe gale winds


    It warns drivers of high-sided vehicles and motorcyclists to avoid the bridge entirely - and take the western ring route on State Highways 16 and 18.

    Speed limit reductions and lane closures are also possible.
