    State Highway 8 west of Tekapo has reopened after a serious four-car crash


    The crash at 7 this evening has left three people with serious injuries and another with moderate injuries.

    Three rescue helicopters responded to the crash, between Tekapo Powerhouse and Braemar Roads.
