The North Island's East Coast's in line for another flogging from wet weather

The North Island's East Coast's in line for another flogging from wet weather

An Orange Heavy Rain Warning applies today and tomorrow for Coromandel; Bay of Plenty from Opotiki westwards, including Rotorua; and Gisborne - and watches cover most of the Island.

People have 24 hours to evacuate a motor camp at Hawke's Bay Cape Kidnappers, near Hastings, because of the risk of slips.

MetService's, Heather Keats , says in good news, the mugginess plaguing the North Island will clear.

She says the south-west change over the South Island is bringing more average temperatures.
