    Iga Swiatek's wait to win the Australian tennis Open - to complete her career grand slam - goes on


    The world number two has been beaten 7-5 6-1 by fifth seed Elena Rybakina in the quarter-finals.



    Rybakina now into the semi-finals for a second time at the Australian Open, having previously lost the 2023 final.

    Fourth seed Jessica Pegula and sixth seed Amanda Anisimova are just getting underway in their quarter-final.
