A man who allegedly caused a fatal crash near Dunedin has pleaded not guilty to manslaughter

Morgan Caleb Morrell is accused of crashing into a power pole while driving on Wickliffe Terrace in Port Chalmers in January.
One person died and another was seriously injured.
The 24-year-old denies the manslaughter charge, alongside counts of dangerous driving causing injury and failing to stop after the crash.
Morrell's been remanded in custody until his next appearance in May.
