    A 25-year-old man has denied fatally shooting two Tauranga men at an Omanawa property


    The accused pleaded not guilty to two counts of murder in the High Court at Tauranga today, appearing via audiovisual link from prison.

    The charges relate to the deaths of Paul Lasslett and Nick Littlewood two weeks ago.

    Justice Graham Lang has continued the suppression order, with the matter set to be reviewed next Wednesday.

    The defendant has been further remanded in custody until that date.

    A potential four-week jury trial date has been scheduled to begin on May next year.
