    A man's before the courts in relation to a fatal crash near Whakatane, in June


    Thrity-four-year-old Grant Wilson died in the June 6 crash on White Pine Bush Road.

    The accused, also 34, had been remanded in custody on a manslaughter charge, and due to appear in the Tauranga District Court on September 30.

    He also faces two charges of driving while disqualifies, and one charge of driving dangerously causing injury.

    He is also due in court on October 1, jointly charged with a 22-year-old woman on a number of charges of perverting the course of justice.
