New Zealand has 103 Covid community cases today

Eighty-eight are in Auckland, nine in Waikato, five in Bay of Plenty and one in the Lakes DHB region.

There's also one new case in Christchurch -- but as it was reported after the 9am cut off, it will be officially added to tomorrow's case numbers.

There are 70 people in hospital -- five in ICU.

A staff member at David Lange Care home in Auckland's Mangere East has tested positive for Covid.

Auckland Regional Public Health Service and Counties Manukau DHB staff are supporting residents and staff and testing's begun.
