    The Police and Government are looking to crack down on CBD crimes over the next month


    To combat antisocial behaviour in major centres, Community Beat Teams have been announced.

    From July 1, Auckland will be the first to see this implemented.

    Police Minister Mark Mitchell says there's a lot more work to do to reduce crime rates - but these are positive steps in the right direction.

    He says they've heard the concern from people -- and wants to be proud of the city again.
