    Quick Sports Summary

    Quick Sports Summary

The Wimbledon quarterfinalist has been stunned by world number 1289 Danka Kovinic 6-3 7-5.

Meanwhile ASB Classic men's champion Gael Monfils is through to the second round.

The Frenchman's downed compatriot Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard in a mammoth five set victory, 7-6 6-3 6-7 6-7 6-4.

Joseph Parker's reiterating the feeling of rejuvenation he's feeling as his shot at becoming at two-time world heavyweight champion looms.

The New Zealander squares off for the IBF title against big Brit Daniel Dubois in Saudi Arabia on February 23rd.

33-year-old Parker - with a tongue-in-cheek jab from Dubois - says he's fresh and ready to go.

Former Scotland rugby captain Peter Brown has died aged 83.

Brown was part of the side that drew nil-all with the All Blacks at Murrayfield in 1964.

He won 27 caps for Scotland and played eight tests for the British and Irish Lions.

One practice session's been enough for the New Zealand Sail GP team to get to grips with their new-look F50 catamaran ahead of the season-opener in Auckland this weekend.

The new T-Foils - introduced to make boats faster and more manoeuvrable - have seen various processes and settings change drastically.

Flight controller Leo Takahashi says they're taking a measured approach early on.
