An overbridge hit by an electric bus which then caught fire will remain closed until it's been assessed by a structural engineer

Emergency services were called to the Constellation Bus Station on Auckland's North Shore yesterday afternoon.

The bus was out of service at the time, with no passengers on board, and the driver got out safely.

A number of bus routes are being detoured until the overpass is deemed safe.
