Scott Wolf has dropped his restraining order against his estranged wife

The actor's temporary protective order has been dismissed amid a turbulent divorce and custody battle involving mental health treatment.

The Party of Five actor split from Kelley Wolf in June after 21 years of marriage, and a few weeks later, he applied for a restraining order against the 49-year-old star, but on Wednesday (03.12.25), a court in Utah granted his oral request to dismiss the amended temporary protective order.

According to People magazine, the case was then dismissed and protective orders issued have been dec lared null and void.

Scott had previously accused his estranged wife of making "deeply disturbing and entirely" false allegations against him.

The 57-year-old actor - who was awarded sole custody of the couple's children Jackson, 16, Miller, 12, and Lucy, 11, - admitted in August that the situation between the pair was "incredibly difficult and contentious".

Scott told People magazine in a statement: "[My] continued hope is to have this most difficult chapter of our family's lives remain as private as possible, however, the well being of my children is at stake, and that will always be my priority.

"There are some significant challenges that are making our situation incredibly difficult and contentious, and it is tragic for all involved.

"I was informed of some deeply disturbing and entirely false allegations that were made about me by my estranged wife."

Kelley was later arrested and charged with harassing Scott and subsequently revealed she would be going to rehab.

She said in court: "I have informed everyone that needs to know, I will be attending a [treatment centre] starting on September 12.

"This is what was asked of me by both Bart Johnson and Scott Wolf now for six months - all I wanted to do was leave a marriage.

"I am excited to go to [the treatment centre]. I'm looking forward to it. My brother is taking me. It's fantastic. It's a great place. I recommended it all the time as a mental health professional myself, so September 12, I will be there for a month. I hope that helps."

However, she checked out shortly afterwards but at the end of September, a judge issued a court-ordered minimum 60-day involuntary psychiatric hold during which she is required to remain on prescribed medication.

A source told People magazine: "She is currently being held against her will as she was deemed a danger to herself and others.

"Right now, [it's important] to stabilise her mood with medication. But she is okay."

In mid-October, Kelley was transferred to a different mental health facility for the remainder of her treatment.
