Jenny McCarthy faces bedroom "challenges" with Donnie Wahlberg because she's constantly battling to block out his snoring

The couple have been married since 2014 and Jenny, 53, has revealed the New Kids on the Block star, 56, is the "perfect" partner and the only real problem they face is at night when she's trying to get to sleep.

During an appearance on LIVE with Kelly and Mark, she explained: "First of all, he is the nicest human being you'll ever meet ...

"[He] treats me like a queen, communicates, loves me, he is absolutely what you would call textbook truly perfect ...

"There are, I wouldn't call it a problem, but challenges. To be blunt, snoring."

Jenny went on to reveal she sleeps wearing"giant headphones" playing the sound of "ocean waves" in a bid to get some peace and quiet and she also builds a pillow wall like the "Great Wall of China" in a bid to stifle the sound of her husband's snores.

She added: "He took up snoring right when I started perimenopause, which, of course, you lose your sleep anyway ...

"I built in these insulations that really help me get through the night now. I sleep with these giant headphones on every night. So now, that is like a soundproof room in my ears ... I will say it works."

However, Jenny explained that if she can still hear Donnie snoring she will give him a tap to encourage him to roll over.

Jenny previously revealed she's been "lucky in love" by finding her perfect man.

During an appearance on the Rachael Ray Show in 2021, Jenny explained: "We just celebrated our seven-year anniversary. And I can't even believe that we've made it seven years, which is a good thing because it feels like it's only been about a year. Everything's still really exciting."

Jenny - who was previously married to actor John Asher - and Donnie remain very close even after so many years together.

But the blonde beauty admits they've been fortunate to have found each other.

She said: "We still Facetime-sleep together every night that we're not together. We're just lucky in love."
