Tired legs have caught up with New Zealand cyclist Ally Wollaston in the Tour Down Under

Tired legs have caught up with New Zealand cyclist Ally Wollaston in the Tour Down Under

The 25-year-old held a 24-second lead heading into the third and final stage through the Adelaide Hills.

But the sprinter found the 126 kilometres - including two major climbs - just too punishing...finishing a distant 39th overall.

Switzerland's Noemi Ruegg successfully defended her title - finishing 6 minutes and 55 seconds ahead of Woolaston.
