Qantas is flying its next-generation Airbus A220 aircraft into the capital this afternoon - the first time the aircraft is being used on an international route.
It'll operate up to three times a week between Wellington and Brisbane, and emits 50 percent less noise, and burns less fuel than its predecessor.
