The search for a swimmer missing in Tasman District's Maruia Falls is set to continue this week

The search for a swimmer missing in Tasman District's Maruia Falls is set to continue this week

Police say staff searched the area yesterday in extremely challenging winter conditions -- with cold and murky water.

Nelson Bays Search and Rescue staff, local Nelson surf life saving crews and local river experts will continue to search over the coming days.

Police say they remain in contact with the man's family and will continue to do so to provide them with any necessary support.
