Auckland union train staff are withdrawing industrial action - returning services to regular schedules

Auckland union train staff are withdrawing industrial action - returning services to regular schedules

Auckland One Rail and Rail Maritime Transport Union have reached agreement in principle.

It still needs ratification with employees.

The city's peak train capacity halved when rail workers refused to work overtime or roster changes.

As a sign of good faith, parties have agreed to cease the current partial strike action.

Late last month unionised staff at CAF - which maintains AT's trains - also withdrew industrial action.
