Good news for Kiwi dairy farmers, and more could be on the way

Good news for Kiwi dairy farmers, and more could be on the way

    Fonterra
    Fonterra
Fonterra's raising its forecast Farmgate Milk Price midpoint from nine-dollars to nine-dollars-50, on the back of lifts in global dairy prices.

The dairy co-op's confirmed the sale of its consumer business, and Oceania and Sri Lanka branches.

The Country's Jamie Mackay says rising demand could push the farmgate midpoint higher.

He says with Donald Trump's win pushing down the Kiwi Dollar, a midpoint of 10-dollars could be on the table.
