Jason Koroheke, has been convicted on three charges of obtaining by deception and 14 charges of accepting gifts, between 2015 and 2018.

He worked for road maintenance company Broadspectrum, and three subcontractors have also charged in relation to the schemes.

An anonymous tip pointed the Serious Fraud Office towards Koroheke.

Director Karen Chang says he not only broke the law, but also diverted public funds for road maintenance.
