The Indian Panthers are refusing to explain why head coach Miles Pearce has resigned after just one game in charge

The embattled New Zealand basketball league franchise have appointed Australian Jonathan Goodman in an interim capacity ahead of tomorrow night's game against Franklin.

They started the season missing eight players due to visa problems and international commitments, and aren't due to get their full roster until next week.

Chief executive Parveen Batish denies there was a falling out.
