    Bus replacements for some Wellington rail services this morning after a train hit a cow


    The animal was struck by a train near Waingawa near Masterton.

    The 6:20 and the 6:47 Masterton to Wellington Services were bus replaced.

    KiwiRail says staff have now removed the cow from the tracks the train has been inspected, with buses continuing to collect passengers.
