    A sharp rise in the prevalence of multiple sclerosis over the past two decades


    A University of Auckland study reveals the number of people diagnosed with the chronic condition lifted by a third between 2006 and 2022.

    Study author Natalia Boven says while European New Zealanders are being diagnosed with M.S at a higher rate - they found the condition increased substantially for Maori, Pasifika and Asian ethnic groups over the same period.
