Chase Chrisley checked into rehab to get help with his alcohol struggles

The 29-year-old reality star - who was arrested in January 2025 after allegedly bring involved in a bar fight - admitted he was "scared" about entering treatment but realised he needed to find a better way to cope with the trauma he had "buried" inside himself

The Chrisleys: Back to Reality season finale on Tuesday (16.09.25) showed Chase and his dad, Todd Chrisley, on board a plane heading for the facility.

Chase said: "There's a lot of emotions. I just need to go and handle a lot of trauma that I have buried.

"I just thought that I could bury it, bury it, bury it. I just gotta find myself."

Todd praised his son for making the decision to seek help and noted the day marked "new beginnings".

He said: "My life's story is not going to be that I went to prison for 28 months. Your life story does not have to be that I had an alcohol and substance abuse problem. That's not your life's story. That's a part. That's a chapter."

After watching his son head into the facility, the 57-year-old patriarch expressed his hope that God would look after his son.

Referencing his eldest son Kyle Chrisley's past struggles with addiction, he said: "You know, I thought going through this with Kyle would kill me.

"But maybe it was preparation for what I'm going through today. I'm sad, and I'm leaving [knowing] that I had to bring my son to a rehab. I'm sad that I'm getting on a plane and he's not with me.

"Even though we've been through a lot, I truly believe that God did not bring us this far to drop this off and that God will keep a protective edge around my son and the healing hand on him at all times. It's because that's what I pray for all of my children every day and every night."

The Chrisleys: Back to Reality has seen tension between Chase and his sister Savannah Chrisley, and the episode showed them having a candid heart-to-heart over Zoom, in which the Gold Drop founder apologised to his sibling and said he "definitely could have showed up" for her more.

However, the Unlocked podcaster admitted it was "tough" for her to accept a "blanket" apology so she was keen for them to "talk about it so we don't get to the same place that we've been at."

Chase said: "I'm beyond proud of you. I'm beyond thankful for the steps that you took and the responsibility that you carried because, like, I was a mess."

His sister grew emotional as she replied: "I know that and I appreciate that. ... I'm not truly happy with how I handled my stress and how it came across. ... It's always been said, 'You're the strong one, you can deal with it.' I never wanted to deal with it by myself."

The siblings vowed to offer one another more support in the future.

Chase said: "What I can do is show up for you now and in the future, because I can't go back and change anything. But, I'm sorry, Savannah. And, I love you."

She replied: "I love you, and I'm here if you need me."

Chase said: "You know I am, too. So, hopefully, this is the beginning of a new chapter."

Savannah added: "I'm proud of you for taking the steps that you've taken. You've always had so much potential, if you just let yourself fall into and work for it, and I'm proud of you."

At the end of the episode, Chase vowed not to "take anything for granted" or to waste any more time.

He said: "I've learned that time is the only thing that money can't buy back, so I'm not going to waste it arguing over small, petty things that don't really matter at the end of the day. And, that family's really all you got."
