    Major company Forest360 Limited is committing to making site roads safer


    It's agreed to fund a range of actions, after a man was killed in Coromandel when his logging truck and trailer rolled in 2023.

    WorkSafe's investigation found the road design, maintenance, and risk assessment was inadequate.

    Forest360 will invest more than 400 thousand dollars into research, education programmes and software development - to help forest owners and operators identify unsafe road conditions.

    The man's widow will also be paid amends.
