    The number of countries qualified for the Football World Cup is up to 34 - after Germany and the Netherlands booked their places at next year's tournament


    The Germans thrashed visitors Slovakia 6-nil to finish top of Group A of European qualifying.

    The Dutch took out Group G with a 4-nil home victory over Lithuania.

    14 spots are still up for grabs at the event being hosted in North America.
