In domestic cricket, the Central Stags declared their first innings against Wellington on 118 for three, in response to hosts Wellington's 354 for 9 declared, on day three of their men's Plunket Shield match.
The Firebirds are 82 for three in their second innings of the rain-affected fixture.
Canterbury declared again in Dunedin, on 223 for four against Otago ... who have begun their second innings, chasing 383.
Auckland also declared their second innings at Mount Maunganui on 354 for five, Northern Districts left chasing 510.
