    Pharmac's weighing up whether it should fund weight-loss drugs


    The agency's assessing two funding applications, for different uses of Wegovy .

    The World Health Organisation's recommended weight loss drugs for treating obesity.

    It says governments should make them more affordable.

    Auckland University Professor Rinki Murphy says the drug can certainly be life-changing.

    She says it can drastically change their weight - and reduce high risks like heart attacks and strokes.
