Stephen Graham thanked his wife for having "saved [his] life" as he picked up his Golden Globe Award on Sunday (11.01.26)

The 62-year-old actor won Best Male Actor in a Limited Series, Anthology Series, or a Motion Picture Made for Television for his work on Adolescence and he gave a heartfelt tribute to spouse Hannah Walters, his co-star and one of the ex ecutive producers of the show.

Stephen praised Hannah as "one of the most best producers ever and a woman I'm very, very lucky to be married to."

He added: "I've said it before, but you saved my life. You saved my life.

"And to my two beautiful children, Grace and Alfie, I love you to the moon and back forever. My dad, my pops, my hero, and I would just like to dedicate this particular award to my mom and all my friends and family, you all know exactly who you are. Without you, none of this is possible."

Stephen also paid tribute to fellow nominees Jacob Elordi (The Narrow Road to the Deep North), Paul Giamatti (Black Mirror), Charlie Hunnam (Monster: The Ed Gein Story), Jude Law (Black Rabbit) and Matthew Rhys (The Beast in Me).

He began his speech by saying: "First of all, I'd just like to say a massive congratulations to all of the nominees in the category. Outstanding performances all across the board, each and every one of you, it's an honour to share this space with you."

As he made his way to the stage at the Beverly Hilton hotel, Stephen was hugged by his Gangs of New York co-star Leonardo DiCaprio and got starstruck by fellow guest Queen Latifah.

He said as he finished his speech: "... Queen Latifah-wow, can't believe it!

"Goodnight, God bless, and in the words of Bob Marley, 'One love!' "

Elsewhere, Dying for Sex star Michelle Williams wasn't in attendance to accept the Best Female Actor - Limited Series award, so presenters Melissa McCarthy and Katherine Hahn picked it up on her behalf.

The former Dawson's Creek star won the award ahead of nominees Claire Danes (The Beast in Me), Rashida Jones (Black Mirror), Amanda Seyfried (Long Bright River), Sarah Snook (All Her Fault) and Robin Wright (The Girlfriend).
