    A second military-style boot camp for young people is set to start next week


    Newstalk ZB understands the second boot camp, with 10 young people, is starting next Monday in Palmerston North.

    It's understood the programme, for serious young offenders, will have stronger involvement with local Maori this time around.

    A pilot programme took place last year and prompted several recommendations for changes.
