    Road safety is everyone's responsibility

    Road safety is everyone's responsibility

A survey by the New Zealand Transport Agency has found 15 per cent of Kiwis believe more than 200 deaths on our roads each year is acceptable.

Senior Manager Road Safety, Fabian Marsh says Kiwis would be horrified if 318 people died in a plane crash.

He says that's the number of people who died on our roads last year.

Fabian Marsh says everyone in New Zealand has a role to play and we need to change the belief that hundreds of people dying on our roads is okay.
