    The man accused of manslaughter after a fatal assault outside Te Papa will keep his name secret for now


    The Kapiti man appeared in the High Court at Wellington this morning, where he pleaded not guilty to killing Simon Strickland by punching him in the head.

    The Crown withdrew an earlier charge of causing grievous bodily harm with intent to injure.

    The 28-year-old has been granted interim name suppression to allow time for a psychiatric report to be done.

    Suppression is due to be fully argued in June.
