The identity of a man alleged to have stabbed four people on Auckland's North Shore will remain suppressed

The identity of a man alleged to have stabbed four people on Auckland's North Shore will remain suppressed

An Auckland court has heard publishing the man's name could put his life at risk.

The 41 year old is currently in a forensic mental health facility, following the incident last week in the North Shore suburbs of Murrays Bay and Mairangi Bay.

He did not appear in North Shore District Court today, due to his mental health condition.
