    Middle East war live updates: Israeli air strike hits mosque in central Gaza as woman killed after shooting attack in southern Israel's Beersheba

    An Israeli air strike hit a mosque in Gaza with Palestinian officials saying at least 26 people were killed overnight while Hezbollah rockets hit Haifa, Israel's third-largest city, Israeli police say. Follow live.


    Security forces are on high alert ahead of memorial events for the anniversary of Hamas's October 7 terror attack on southern Israel last year, as the Israeli military continues to attack Gaza and the southern suburbs of Beirut.
