    Iga Swiatek's defence of her title at tennis' Italian Open is over after a third round defeat to Danielle Collins


    The American's completed a 6-1 7-5 win over the world number two - clinching just her second victory in nine matches against Swiatek.

    Another upset came via Australian Open champion Madison Keys' three set loss to fellow American Peyton Stearns in three sets.

    World number one Jannik Sinner, sixth seed Casper Ruud and seventh seed Alex De Minaur have all advanced to the men's third round.

    But fourth seed Taylor Fritz, along with notable seeds, Ben Shelton, Frances Tiafoe and Andrey Rublev are all out.
