    Several crews are at the scene of a fire in Auckland's Titirangi


    Fire and Emergency says it was called about 7:30 to a carport and shed on Godley Road, fully engulfed in flames.

    Five appliances, one command unit, and some 20 firefighters have responded and extinguished the blaze.

    Chief Fire Officer Philip Taylor says there are no injuries and the fire's not spread to the main house or nearby properties.

    Its understood asbestos is present.

    Godley Road has been closed to traffic at Titirangi Road.
