    Hamilton Police are making their presence felt in Fairview Downs - where an assault last night left a young man with life-threatening injuries


    The man's now undergoing surgery, after being attacked by several people on Northolt Road about 9.30pm.

    Police say they're following strong lines of enquiry - and ask anyone with information to contact them.
