    Halle Bailey feels fully "healed"

The 25-year-old star admits that 2025 has proven to be a "really transformative year" for her, following her acrimonious split from ex-boyfriend DDG.

Halle - who has son Halo, 23 months, with DDG - told E! News: "It's been a really transformative year. I've been so excited. I released an album."

Halle insists she's in a great frame of mind at the moment, and she's encouraged fans to listen to her new album, Love?... or Something Like It.

The singer said: "I just feel healed and happy and free. I just want people to listen to the music, and I'm grateful to be here."

Halle is now looking forward to spending some quality time with her son over the Christmas season.

She shared: "I just got Christmas lights all over my house. So, very excited about it.

"I like to bake sugar cookies. I do a whole thing."

Halle and DDG reached a custody agreement for their son in October.

Under the terms of their agreement, DDG will have custody of Halo on Wednesdays and certain weekends - but the toddler will live with Halle for the rest of the time.

The former couple - who began dating in December 2021 - have agreed to a holiday schedule, too.

What's more, Halle and DDG - whose name is Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr - dropped their restraining orders against each other and have been banned from talking badly about each other in public or in front of their son.

Halle and DDG became involved in a high-profile public spat after their break-up, and earlier this year, DDG asked a court to stop Halle from travelling internationally with their son.

The streamer filed a motion requesting an emergency hearing to restrict the Little Mermaid star from taking Halo to Italy for work.

In court documents obtained by People magazine and other outlets, he accused Halle of being an "an imminent emotional and psychological risk to the minor child based on repeated, documented threats of self-harm".

He alleged that if Halo left the country, his son wouldn't have the protections of the court or any "emergency intervention mechanisms".
