Fire crews across the central North Island have converged near Tongariro National Park - to keep a 110-hectare blaze at bay

Ten trucks, six support vehicles, and five helicopters are attending - east of State Highway 47, which is closed between Highways 46 and 48.
Firefighters have come from as far as Whanganui .
It's exactly a month ago since a fire in the same area spread to ravage nearly three-thousand hectares of native bush.
Meanwhile, further east - crews are also battling a pine plantation fire at Mohaka, south of Wairoa, and State Highway Two has reopened.
