    Sadness Kiwi cricket's startling new opening partnership has been broken after just three matches


    The women's Super Smash has seen Wellington's usual opening batter Georgia Plimmer joined at the top by all-rounder Amelia Kerr.

    The pair have scored more than 300 runs between them as the Blaze have won three games in a row to top the table.

    Blaze coach Jonny Bassett-Graham says Kerr's departure for the Indian Premier League will be disappointing for fans...and the national selectors.



    Wellington begin life without Kerr tomorrow against Auckland.
