Netflix has teamed up with Nuuly for a new Bridgerton capsule collection

The global streamer is celebrating the upcoming fourth season with a special Regency-inspired range for the fashion rental subscription service.

As reported by WWD, the collaboration will feature 24 pieces created by four female designers and the pieces will be available when the second part of the season drops.

Nuuly wants customers to "live like a Bridgerton" with a modern day twist, making the collection suitable for everyday wear, ranging from blouses, matching sets and more formal maxidresses.

Nuuly's head of product Sky Pollard said: "Nuuly jumped at the chance to work with Netflix and Bridgerton.

"The show is a cultural phenomenon that has influenced how people think about fashion, romance and expression.

"Bridgerton has sparked a global interest in this period of intensely feminine fashion and Nuuly had the opportunity to bring a fresh, modern interpretation to the Bridgerton universe."

The brand feel like the collection still stays true to its mission of "democratising access to exciting, inspiring fashion and giving people new ways to explore trends without commitment".

Independent designers Guixio, Fashion Brand Co, House of Aama and Studio Tessa Gay were chosen for the collection because they "represent common themes of romance, inclusivity, feminism and diversity in their own way".

Pollard added: "The collection is focused on familiar shapes like corseting, Empire waistlines and feminine details mixed with unexpected and playful elements to help showcase the modern version."

Meanwhile, the goal was to "reimagine Regency", rather than replicating it.

She added: "We hand-selected this group of designers for their unique perspectives, allowing our subscribers to express themselves through Bridgerton-inspired pieces that reflect their own personal style."
